Can you imagine a world where Nintendo makes games for their fans... not casual crap.

It was called the Gamecube. It may not have sold well, but it kept my inner fanboy happy.
well they do... for us/japan fans...just not australians...i'm okay with that
Of course, because you can be the best by focusing on those two regions.

Microsoft + Sony do what Nintendon't.
not too many early adoptors...i thought there would be more
hey the infendo guys stole my thread here

why i outta...
I will definitely NOT be buying this for $100. I'll wait and see how it turns out and hope for a price drop. From what I've seen so far it does not look worth $100. I think that they have definitely overpriced this and don't see this being "casually" picked up at all.

As McCloud mentioned. That's in American.

I don't want to imagine what that would be in Aussie dollars. That's if its true of course, but if it is... Nintendo can get stuffed.

kinda off topic, but not quite... what's the exchange rate, USD to Aussie dollars? or even more simply, on the average $50 game (in the US) what do you pay, LMX, in USD?

In Ireland (and general Europe) games cost €60, which translated to USD at $80

Wow, that's a lot. It really all depends on how many games will be able to take advantage of the balance board.
if u think thats expensive, look at rock band, now thats expensive.

I was never planning on getting wii fit anyways, i personally think it's stupid. well not stupid, just it doesnt look fun
hell yes.
OMFG it's infamous Welcome back Big Grin

Any game near the price point of $100 is too much for me, no matter who makes it or what it is. Why would I pay that much money for a game like Wii Fit, Rock Band, or GH:III. It's insane really. I'll wait for the price to go down.
The game looks okay, but not worth the price of 2 games.
Meh... I doubt I'll get it if it's $100 either.
what about 80 or 90
Well for 80 i might consider it, especially if they figure out a way to use the balance board for other games.
Im not paying that amount of cash for a weighing scale type thing.
I don't get it. Its ten dollars more than GH3. Its more advanced software and probably comes with a game. So why wouldn't you get it?

Im a little skeptical myself but then again, when i saw the wii remote, i thought what a piece of crap! Shortly after that i thought of all the possibilities and then i was on board.

point is that i lost faith in Nintendo.
lesson dont ever lose faith in nintendo, they know how to make things work.... (except Gamecube =p)

After a couple of reviews. I will consider buying it.

imagine a skateboarding game with it.

Its just the fact that the GH series has proven itself over time, Wiifit has yet to do that which is why I will wait for some more reviews from professionals and even people from here to come out before I consider it. But I will admit there are possiblities that come with the balance board.

Professionals? Most reviews are naturally bias. You can't listen to a critic because he is different from you. He may like one thing and you another. In the end its what you like. If a game that you have been waiting for gets a bad review, you wont want to play it?

Nah, thats not it at all, I use reviews from mags, gaming sites and even here to get a variety of opinions from different sources. That way I can get an idea of how the game plays, the story, and other things. And it would be a good bet that if pretty much all the reviews are bad there is a chance they have those kind of reviews.
