According to Gamestop, Wii fit will be available on January 2, 2008 at a price of $99.99.
I dont know about you but I was ONLY considering the purchase when we thought it was $69.99.
Now at a hundred bucks, I dont know if I will get this at launch, how about you?

No way i will get this game for $99.99, if it was $69.99 maybe i would think about it, but if its for exersice i'll just go for a run, thats cheaper.
I think I'll wait for a price cut.. 100 bucks is a bit much. We'll see.

I'm starting to think now that somedays the water cooler is only filled with what looks like water. Hopefully they will come to there senses and drop the price so people will by the little scale board thingy.

You provide a very good point. I don't know very many casual gamers that would pay that much for just a game when most casual gamers i know already think that $50 is way too much.
perhaps Nintendo is getting a case of sony-itis and pricing thereselves out of the market

Yeah i'm assuming that what is jumping that price up so much is the balance board, but i'm pretty sure nintendo can afford to sell at a loss for a month or two, i would if i were them to get people to actually buy it, otherwise it will flop me thinks.

sometimes gamestop does OK when it comes to forshadowing game arrivals....however, big game titles such as wiifit really wont be guarenteed. we know its comming out, we know what it will be like but its still VERY early in the game year....its only september. we dont know what might change in the game or the board.
they have 3 months to perfect this so like i wrote above- ill wait closer to christmas

that doesnt make any sense, GH comes with a guitar and thats all you can play it with...one game
at least the balance board has potential for hundreds of games to play with the controller
so yeah its expensive but its still a better value than a plastic guitar
Its just the fact that the GH series has proven itself over time, Wiifit has yet to do that which is why I will wait for some more reviews from professionals and even people from here to come out before I consider it. But I will admit there are possiblities that come with the balance board.
Professionals? Most reviews are naturally bias. You can't listen to a critic because he is different from you. He may like one thing and you another. In the end its what you like. If a game that you have been waiting for gets a bad review, you wont want to play it?
WOW 100 DOLLARS!!!!! Thats too much, i can barely get a game that costs 50 nevermind 100! I would like to play but that price is too much!
