I don't think that's funny at all to be honest. John Kerry is an asshole and this guy was just exposing that. Mr. Kerry used his surname as a false reason to claim that he was Irish (to appeal to all the Irish-emigrant Americans) when in fact it was only his great great grandmother or something that was. I found him arrogant and cocky. Maybe this guy was being a bit stupid, but he was asking questions, that's all.
You might not like John Kerry for whatever reason, but you can't justify what the guy did by saying...John Kerry is a dick or John Kerry is an ass. People make choices and this guy royally screwed up.
Okay maybe I said what I said a bit wrong. I don't have any personal feelings about John kerry. But I know for a fact that he pretended to be Irish until he was exposed. I thought this guy was the only guy to have the guts to say it, but according to Wenis, the student is an asshole so i retract my previous statement

watching the videos again, it doesnt seem like he was too phased by them...yeah, they probly hurt like hell, and he calmed down a bit, but that's kind of a natural reaction to getting shocks through your system...he was still putting up a big-arse stink about things
and to the question about who the girl was - probably one of the friends that had gone in with him.
Yeah I bet she was his friend, since she was standing right next to him and was right up in 'fussle' (yeah I can't think of a word for it) when the police had him down and tasered him.

@Wenis - yeah. also, i noticed a lot of people just staring and laughing....i would have just been shaking my head at the whole situation (but still watch intently seeing as its the NYer thing to do...like watching the accident on the side of the road and almost causing one myself, or turning to watch the cop car and walking into a garbage can)
