so the wiimote makes the game cool? if it didnt have the wiimote, would the game be exactly like MP2?
does fisting a hole immerse you more into the game and make you feel like samus?
Well, actually, yes. That's...pretty much the whole idea. Actually having to pull your arm back, twist and push it back in is just a very small thing, but having to aim with your arm among other things....that's kind of the point, to put your more into the game.

The game would actually be shorter and less involved then 2 without the Wiimote. IMO, of course...
This is going absolutely nowhere. Halo fans love Halo. Metroid fans love Metroid. Life goes on.

Never trusted IGN, or Gamespot. They both pretty much suck, hell, I don't even trust reviewers. Halo has never been appealing to me and Metroid even less appealing, in my opinion they're both the most overrated shooters for their respective consoles. I don't think IGN will ever give an overhyped game a low score.
There are other reviews out there other than IGN and GameSpot. You're better off to check out GameRankings or MetaCritic where they compile all reviews. Speaking of which on GR Halo 3 has an average score of 96.2% based on 14 reviews (so far) while MP3 has a score of 91.2% based on 32 reviews. Difficult to compare however given that Halo 3 is primarily based upon multiplayer while Metroid is focused on single player.
P.S. I much prefer IGN over GameSpot. IGN tends to give in too much to hype but GameSpot's reviews are terribly inconsistent.

I'm sick and cracked out on vicodin for the pain so you confused the hell out of me for a minute there... thought I'd made one HELL of a typo until I checked my original post.
I CAN explain to you what's great about MP3. It IS NOT just a run of the mill FPS. The goal is not "run around, kill everything, the end." Granted, you have to kill things, but at its core it's an ADVENTURE game. Hell, I'd liken it to Zelda before I did to Halo. The game makes you think, you have puzzles to solve. Halo's just another FPS. It's a solid FPS, yes, but nonetheless too run of the mill to make me understand the rabid fanboys and crazy hype.

Yeah but so was Metroid prime 1 and 2
metroid 3 would just be another run of the mill FPA, just as halo would be a run of the mill FPS? And I wouldn't say its run of the mil, most other FPS games have a crappy single player mode, Halo's is better than the average FPS single player I would say.
No one's gonna convince the other here, so I'll leave it at this:
Play Perfect Dark on the N64. THAT is a spectacular console FPS. Halo will be put in perspective by doing so, I promise.

Halo is a good series.
Metriod is a better sereis due to the time and effort into the saga. But I really like Halo... i caught the fever and just paid my Halo 3 in full today by selling my DS Lite. Was it worth it, who knows till Tues?
