Yeah I just signed up for an account 2 days ago, and saw in my control panel that I had "$20.00 GTD" (gametrailer dollars). So I read the website FAQ and stuff and found some info out. You get $1 GTD per video you watch, even though $1 GTD is equivilent to like 2 cents in real life, its still money. Like you can exchange 10,000 GTD for a ps3 or 360 game, and about 60,000 for a PS3. Although I don't see how someone could watch 60,000 videos... If you go to that site you might as well just register an account, cuz who knows maybe 2 years down the line and after all the videos you have watched, you could reward yourself with a free game or something

lol, doubt its a scam. gametrailers.com is a pretty credible website. Also if you think about it, not many people are actually going to watch 10,000 videos, so its not like they are giving away thousands of prizes. Like I said, 1 or 2 cents per GTD, its really not much. plus I would think the website ads take care of that cost

And they also offer stuff to customize your control panel with... which cost like 500 GTD. So people would probably just give up on saving up 10,000 for a game or something, and just spend it all for the 'non-real life' items

how? they have a lot of time on their hands...they turn their computer on mute and watch a few at a time...they spend a few years stalking the site for new videos.

they dont load fast enough for me, and they can definately afford it, they make more money from the ads then people watching videos

The videos load quicker then youtube and google and most other sites for me.
Just don't want the HD videos, those take a while to load. I only watch those if I really want to see it in full detail... otherwise I just stick with the regular versions.

And, if you think it's the "bestest thing evar". You, sir, are wrong. They, more than "occasionally", have most items out of stock, meaning they probably won't reappear in the GT store... Ever. It's a nice concept, but it's flawed. Anyway...
