They were giving us a lecture on how to use a computer in grade 9 ( Some library crap bare with me ) And I was trying out ZOMGproxy or whatever its called something like that, and Wiiloaded comes up

So im beside my friend and i click on WL and explore WL beside my friend ( he hates wii so mehhh at what he said lol ) and I pretty much raped my profile saying "DOESNT HE LOOK SO AWESOME I WISH HE WAS ME" basically lol

By the end of last year the internet hardly worked, servers needed replacing.
And I think the chacepilot had a little too much power.

It's a way of getting around the system that blocks sites at school.

lol yup basically what most people use a proxy for, although it is quite a bit more than that.

Basically what it is is a server that makes internet requests on your behalf. Then it will store the static info from the page so that it will load quicker which when used on a network with multiple people looking at the same page will help. It also helps with security.

Well that other reason works very well too

Provided the network doesn't block unmanaged traffic (things they haven't decided to block or unblock) then run an SSH server on your home PC (on the HTTPS port 443 as opposed to 22) and then use PuTTY portable and Firefox Portable from a USB key to tunnel to your home PC.

Undetectable. Unblockable if you have a dynamic IP addy.

Yup, that would be a nice work around if it was blocked, cept, my usb ports are blocked at work
