A segment from Game Informer's interview with David Doak of Free Radical (Haze, TimeSplitters):

GI: You’ve always been pretty high up on the latest and greatest hardware, you’re rolling onto the PS3 with Haze, but some of your biggest fan base was on Nintendo’s consoles, because there weren’t a whole lot of shooters on the GameCube. Are you thinking about putting TimeSplitters on the Wii, as well? What do you think about making a first-person shooter for the Wii?

Doak: I think it’s a good thing to do, and I think we want to put it on the Wii. And I’m sure it’s possible to do a control scheme that works. Also, if you want to start a petition for remaking Second Sight on the Wii, I’d like to see that as well, because I think that game worked really well, [laughs] because of the manipulation stuff.

Sounds promising. TimeSplitters is one of the most fun First-Person shooter franchises out there IMO. Never played Second Sight, but I heard it was pretty good. Why not make a brand new Second Sight game exclusive to Wii though? I thought the Wiimake era was over. The Wii's control scheme would complement the telepathy aspect nicely though.

I already posted this, but no one cares. You're damn straight that TimeSplitters is the most fun first person shooter!
I really hope that Free Radical goes for the button approch and doesn't screw up second function. Just leave aiming to motion sensing.
If you use that pun again I will castrate you.

Timesplitters FTW

Never played second sight.

Hopefully if it is going to be made, they will put effort into these ports.
Yea, maybe some Wii exclusive challenges...
I do love Timesplitters. Sure, its no GoldenEye, but its as close as we'll probably get.
Neat, I thought Timesplitters 2 was great. Would be especially fun if it had online multiplayer.
well online for TS2 and TS:FP apparently ruled, so lets hope Wii's is online.

Second Sight, I played it. It wasnt good, nor bad. Just the controls got too frustrating and when I read the back of the cover box, it was like "This could be a sleeper."

Then played it and thougth to myself, "this game sucked, good think it was only .99 cents!"
