well I was reading on a 360 forum and there were a couple of posts about people complaining about their discs being scratched when they opened up their cases, and someone posted this link:

has to be frustrating for those who were totally looking forward to playing their games today. also this really doesn't help the 360's already bad image of quality

I'm just glad that gamers only have to pay shipping, but if people buy it at gamestop or a place like that they can take it back and exchange it.

Kind of crazy, but nothing can kill the Halo 3 buzz.

It's pretty invunerable in that respect. And with Near perfect reviews to back it up.. well, it's gonna be hogging the spotlight for a while.

Very true, don't think the buzz will go away for quite some time honestly.

Glad I bought the regular edition Preordered two copies early this year for $40 each (the edition with the helmet was like $80)

lol my discwas like that to i got the LE i seen what looked like scratches so i rubbed it on my shirt and they away. turns out they were just marks.

Haha, you got pretty lucky. I would hate to be in that situation where the disc was scratched, i'd be pretty upset.
