1. If you can give me an actual argument about why KH story ">>> OOT's" then feel free to.

2. That logic works IF your a rabid FF fan. Zelda has made transitioned from 2D to 3D. This means that Nintendo was taking a character that people loved in 2D and giving them even more character in the 3D world. They did this for each 2D character that existed and gave them new character, KH is a cross-over game with a few original characters.

3. Zelda isn't about magic, and maybe its just me. But I'd rather have less magic than playing a game where all I need to do is mash buttons to beat enemies. Who cares about KH magic? It was pretty crap anyway, and the summons sucked.
KH Story is better because it shows how when you go too each Disney world place, you have to help with there story, which was fun for the story, then having to fight Riku after you were searching for him for so long was cool too.

OOT Story = Find the Princess.

Zelda's gameplay is just the same thing over and over, the combo's are pretty much the same 3 things over and over.

I care about the Magic in KH because they help me? lol
LOL! So, what about the Sages in OOT? You know, the people he meets along the way (usually as a child) then has to go back and meet them as an adult and save them from various temples and awaken them so they can become Sages?

KH = STOP ANSEM AND FIND RIKU! ZOMG!

It was quite easy to make the story for KH because the worlds it dealt with were already established and created by Disney or SquareEnix many years ago. Nothing original about those.

Its good to hear you found the magic useful in KH, because honestly I didn't (apart from Curaga, Aeroga and Tinkerbell). I was better off just mashing buttons as it would get a better result that just crappy little fire or ice spells that left me WIDE open for attack from other enemies.

Oh, and also. WTF @ Donald's AI in KH1. "GRAVIJA! GRAVIJA! GRAVIJA! THUNDER! Crap, I'm out of magic."
I like KH's story better too. I just remembered how much I love Roxas and Axel.. particularly Axel, but he doesn't get as much attention as Roxas. : / I don't think I'll get the PSP game, b/c I don't have a PSP. I don't see myself using it at all. But I will get a PS3 for KH3.. if it still exists. o.O
I will prob get all versions except the Mobile.

Cloud has a point, basically all the LoZ games were based on finding and saving the Princess along with having the Tri-force, occasionally finding that.. but hey we still love it anyway.. and im not gettin the mobile game either..

OMG. I love it when newbies accuse Zelda about just being a "Save the Princess" game.

KH is just a "Stop the Heartless" game if you want to be blunt. Seriously, actually pay attention to the story and you'll see more.

But whatev, your loss guys. Go ahead and swoon over KH with its cross-over already established in older games/movies characters and a couple of new characters who are reminiscent of older characters from games.
NEW CHALLENGER: RICKY

1. Both of the stories were extremely cliche, but overall I have to hand it to KH. I was saddened when I had to give back my ocarina, but even more saddened when I couldn't be reunited with Kairi/Hayden.
That's a big:
):

'omg we werr frendz but now weer not omg no were's kyree?' /slitwrist

That's not a story. We've already seen the "buddy gone bad/posessed" storyline, and the "save the girl" plot. In Zelda we've already seen the "save the princess" storyline, but what was cool was the time travel. You had this little Zora girl who wants to be your wife, and then she becomes a sage. You have a friend you grew up with that was completeley normal, but 7 years later she has immense sage powers. That's something I don't remember seeing before expecially at the young age I was at. I give KH the lead because I'm a sucker for love stories. =p

Plus it's Hayden... come on.

2:  LoZ had better characters, I mean come on! The only original characters in KH were Sora, Riku, Kairi and Xenohort/Ansem/Xenma/whatever bs Square raped their storyline with. Everyone else was either from Disney or Square. 'omg but dey werr in free-d!'.  Doesn't matter, Cloud if I remember correctly, you said characters, not character models. 3-D or not everyone besides the original characters (i.e. Sora etc) barely even had a story, and were merely tacked on so you would say 'omg sefiroth!'.

3) In terms of gameplay, LoZ far outclasses KH. "Hey! Look at me! I can beat every boss with a single button!". Fail. 'but... but da magic!". That crap wasn't even necessary, and I don't know why they added summons. In LoZ you could swim, you could ride a horse,  you could shoot a bow, hell you could shoot a bow while riding a horse. You could sail a boat, throw a bomb, hell you could shoot a bomb while sailing a boat. You could glide in the wind, you could fish, hell you could... oh wait no you can't. Bottom line is, in Zelda you could do WAY more things in there than you could do in KH, so as far as gameplay goes, it's not even close to debateable.

I... think I'm done?

=D
No one say any more. Ricky has stamped the final point on this thread.

I welcome any of you to argue those points d:
That's so unfair.. poor KH. That's like a blow to the head right there.
The original characters of the KH series are better than the LoZ ones IMO.

Organization XIII > Little Zora Girl/ Ganon / Zelda Smile

Ricky does have a point with the gameplay I must say, but even so I do like KH better than the Zelda Series.
Ganon > Organisation XIII

Then that's wonderful for you Cloud. Though I still fail to see why. Enjoy your semi-original franchise and its button mashing.
I will then, enjoy your obvious storyline.

Sora > Ganon Big Grin

for the record im not a newbie ive played Zelda for a long time.. i just said that i had like KH2 more than OT cuz it was recent.. but i cant say the same for TP cuz that was better! im in between i guess.. >_<

Kh2 >>>> TP lol
Lol. Liek guyz Cloud is t0tallyy wright!!11!

No way Cloud.

It goes:

OOT > TP = KH2 > ALttP > KH1

Deal with it.
Whatever, your entitled to your opinion. But IMO it goes:

KH2 > KH 1 > TP > OOT > Lttp
Well enjoy your opinion. And I will enjoy mine.

One thing we can all agree one, both Zelda and KH games are way too easy.
Sorry guys I started this up. I just grew up with Zelda and it's cool games, and the weird ones that spawned off the original one. LOL. I really really really like the first KH a lot and I really really really like Zelda.

It's hard honestly to say what is "better" because that involves personal perception from those involved with the controller in their hand.

Can't we just say that they are all good games???? Wink I will own both of the franchises in my library and would encourage anyone to try out either series.
