Rumor has it that an Animal Crossing character will be a playable fighter in Brawl. I’m not talking about the mayor or any other familiar faces, just a generic Animal Crossing character…just like the one you play as in AC on the Cube or DS. Continuing on with the rumor, you should expect to use the axe, fishing rod, and more everyday AC items as your weapons.

There are plenty of signs that prove this to be more then a rumor. The AC Level, 2 items, and most importantly the AC logo. Characters get logos and items stage from that character's game get that same logo.
I want the ability to use Mii's in smash, 'nuff said.

I just really don't believe a character that has never done any sort of fighting against (or for, as is the case of Bowser, Ganondorf, RIDLEY, etc.) baddies deserves a spot in Smash. I just don't think a character that's never fought before should be in... that's all. I think I've said this before... adding an animal crossing character would be similar to Konami creating a Smash type game and having one of the DDR dancers in it

MR. G&W and C. Falcon never fought before. They were given moves and worked. Am AC character can have moves that are related to the game.
