and I plan on getting a wall mount with it.

The main thing that's attracting me is the price. I know that it doesn't do 1080p, but my familly won't be getting HDTV service any time soon, and once I get a 360 I think I'll be fine without it. We're moving to a new house and buy the looks of it my new room will be a lot better than the cramped space I've got now.
And if you can find anything better I'd be open to it but can't really spend more than $500.
its pretty sexx'd .

My TV Is 15' lol
My current TV is a 20" CRT that I got for 100 bucks. It's pretty bad but since I only got it last year my parents will probably be against me getting this. But I really want it now.
its good, the contrast ratio isn't that high compared to others i've seen but I reallly don't know how much of a difference that makes

and you can't go wrong with real customer reviews: http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddet...081&catid=

well doesn't link directly do it, but just click the tab next to the specifications tab
I read them, and they seemed alright. I especially paied attention to reviews mentioning the 360 and PS3 so everything is looking ok.
You can find 32" for $400 USD with similar specs if you search hard enough (i've purchased two and different times this year)

The main thing that concerns me is the (lack of) inputs. One of each isn't nearly enough.

Oh, btw I did see a deal going across for a 50" Samsung DLP TV (720p), XBox 360 Premium, 1600 Live Points, Halo 3, XBox Live 1 year, $25 BestBuy Gift Card, and $100 NFL gift card, for between $1000-1100 shipped from Best Buy the other day. I promise you can find a better deal than the TV you're looking at.
Wouldn't a 26" LCD with the same specs as a 32" LCD look more clearer if you were sitting the same distance from it at least

note that it doesn't "Do" 1080i. It just takes the signal and downscales it to 768p

It doesn't sound to bad but like z6 said, i'm not so fond of the lack of inputs. If you keep looking i'm sure you will find a better deal Smile

I'm not worried. I can put my DVD player into the composite, Wii into S-Video/component, 360 into component/HDMI, and if I get a PS3 I'll use the HDMI port.

dvd in composite? blasphemy.

Maybe, but it's also alot smaller. Why stop there? You could get a 15" with similar specs, but it would suck to watch from more than 5 feet away Toungue

btw, saw another deal, 42" LCD (1080i), 360, HDDVD addon, delivery, installation for under $1100 (possibly under $1000). i'm going tomorrow to check that one out myself Smile

this one isn't bad: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/OLEVIA-27...tDetail.do

or this http://www.vizio.com/products/detail.aspx?pid=24

and vizio is said to be the best HDTV for 360's, at least that was before the 360 got HDMI put which means it can go to 1080p now if im thinking right. either way they make good HDTVs for cheap

Basically it will take a 1080i signal from say and xbox, but you'll only view it at 768p because that's the resolution of your TV
