Some pretty juicy rumours from the November issue of EGM (#221):
First, Viva Pinata:
Even though critics ate up the candy-filled creatures in Viva Pinata, Xbox 360 owners weren't too inclined to take a bite. Probably because it didn't have space marines. Or guns. Or halos. Now if only it had come out on the Wii. Yes, if only. Well, if my Microsoft mole is telling me right, this may happen - word is the new Viva Pinata party game (coming to the 360 this fall) is hitting the Wii, too.
And a new exclusive Wii Strategy/RPG title:
Right now, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn is the premier strategy-role-playing game coming to the Wii this November. But for those itching to scratch their noggins, I'm hearing Final Fantasy Tactics (PS) director Yasumi Matsuno is wrangling together some of his old pals who worked on past SRPG titles like Ogre Battle (SNES) to piece together an exclusive Wii game very similar to Final Fantasy Tactics.
And some other tidbits that may or may not affect the Wii:
- Microsoft paid off 2K Games to keep BioShock off the PS3.
- Obsidian is making a CIA-themed thriller RPG for the 360 and PS3.
- EA is making a sequel to Black.
- Midway is making a sequel to Blitz: The League.
- Sony is reviving the Jet Moto series.
I'm guessing that Rare isn't going to be involved with the Viva Pinata 2 game? either way i'm not suprised its coming to Wii, I was suprised the first came to the 360 though. just didn't seem '360ish' to me

The first black was one of the best stress relievers ever, just blow the hell out of everything.
Heck, if the wii gets BLACK 2, I will be a happy cappin'
Any title that has an all caps name will be worth getting. They will want a next gen experience tho, so I doubt the Wii's chances.
Come to think of it, you make a good point on Viva Pinata. It's the only game on the 360 that I can think of that's like that. It might be wiser to include the Wii in a possible sequal. As for the second rumor, I would loooooooooooooooove a game on the Wii like FF tactics. That would be awesome!

I'd totally buy Viva Pinata for the Wii. Let alone just for the
awesome factor.
And as for that Final Fantasy Tactics-style game, I'd have to wait for a little more info on it. :l

BLACK, whatta game. My friend got it and we just desolated everything...BLACK 2 on Wii would be cool. Mehhh at Viva Pinata. I played the 1st one at my cousins house a few months ago, wasn't impressed at all.

Viva Pinata always seemed to fit well on the Wii. just had that sort of feel. i'd probably play it if it did come out on the Wii. played the demo a bit. seems pretty interesting. never played BLACK, didn't play Jet Moto (tho it seems entertaining), Obsidian can do no wrong (as far as i've seen so far), so their game could kick ass... the Bioshock then...i'm just not surprised
