Notes:
- A few milestones this week:
      - 5 million Wiis sold in America
      - 12 million Wiis sold worldwide
      - 45 million PS2s sold in America
- PSP sold a whopping 276,825 units in Japan for the week of the 23rd, outselling the DS by more that 4:1. This is mostly due to the release of Crisis Core: FFVII which has sold over 600,000 in 2 weeks. DS still has a commanding overall lead by about a 3:1 ratio.
- Halo 3 has sold about 60,000 copies in Japan, or about 2% of what was sold in America.
- Halo 3 is already less than a million copies short of Gears of War (4.8 million in ~11 months) to become the best-selling Xbox 360 game in the world.

Halo 3, no surprise there or the 360 sales. With those numbers it should remain number 1 until SMG is released.

Wii Play selling more than Metroid Prime 3 is the very stem of why Nintendo want to make more casual crap.

God damnit people, buy Metroid. Send Nintendo a message that we don't want their Wii Play trash.

Yea, but the DS is still beating the **** out of everybody, i'm sure within a few months or more the Wii should be back in second, or untill SMG snd SSBB comes out.
And OMG, WTF is with Wii Play? Is it just because of the extra Wii Remote or something?

You're preaching to the choir, LMX... I hate to say it, but we can't force the casual gamers to buy MP3. Unless we each buy 100 copies... yes, that'll do it...

Stupid casual gamers.

The extra Wiimote is the main reason why people are constantly buying Wii Paly. It doesn't stack up to Wii Sports in anyway. Nintendo won't totally lean towards casual gamers, they still have their big titles unwraps .

Funny to see Wii Play doing so well.
I guess its a good starting game for many new Wii owners, but still.
