Tags are BluebaronX and Maulfire. BluebaronX is my main and is a Master Sergant Gold i believe. He's a 5-5 engineer (all unlocks) and a 1-4 Recon (APM's and up to the lambert carbine on the spec ops tree).
I'm taking a bit of a break right now though to play metroid and because I have finals coming up for Cisco 3. That and once Crysis comes out i don't know how much i'll be playing BF2142.
Maybe i'd play more if they finally came out with that stupid Highway Tampa patch and not that buggy beta version either.

Engineer is 5-4, Recon is 1-4, and I'm a tad bit away from becoming a 1st lieutenant.
I play Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only.

The numbers indicate how high you've unlocked on a tree. In the normal bf2142 game you can only unlock 4 per tree, there are two trees per kit. In the Northern Strike booster pack there is another unlock per tree thus getting 5. Thats why when he said 5-4 i knew he played NS.

I've been planning on getting NS though, are they ever going to release it as a retail CD? Or is it just going to be via internet forever?
Me and Beaker are gonna start new soldiers, a clean slate to have better stats.
Plus, its fun getting promotions! And you get them so fast in the lower ranks....
Lol yeah, i got one that originally started as my main but i never got very high with him, he's only a 4-1 or 4-2 assault right now. Yeah i haven't played since i picked up metroid. I think its been almost a 3 or 4 weeks now. So what server do you guys usually play on?

I'm playing recon lately to get the explosives gallantry badge.. usually I'm a tank-busting engineer.
I'm the engineer and/or Recon (depends what we need) while Beaker is assault/Recon (i think?). We back each other up, a support partner would be nice -_-;; I would be, but I can't be bothered with getting its unlocks now...
The random guys you get online aren't usually helpful or co-operative.
yeah, i don't have any thats support, that was gonna be my next tree to go up though. Want to get the Clark shotty
usually when im defending titan im recon and when im attacking im assault.
and for conquest im always assault
Believe it or not, for the longest time I used my engie to defend the titan. With my SMG having an extended clip and using my motion mine bait to clear out the vents it works pretty good. Although now I mainly use my Recon with APM's and the Lambert carbine for Titan defense.
ya recon is pretty awsome for defending.
i like support to for defending, just have a sentury gun or whatever there called, a shield and unlimated ammo. its a sweet setup
Yeah then you get those damn grenade spammers, god i hate them.
lol ya, its pretty annoying
yeah, smoke grenades help a bit but you usually need a good squad to take a grenade spammed corridor
