Final Fantasy XII was brilliant?

That's not a movie? That's a game.

They did trun the game into a great animated film, I got it at home, I don't see the need to do a live action film for HITMAN, could be a cool animated film instead of live action. At least they won't be restricted on the brawl and frenzy action , the universe and other silly stuff like the bar code will be abit more realistic in that kind of universe then a real one.

In that case NO video game should ever be turned into a live-action movie.
For that matter no COMIC BOOK movie should. This is your arguement Stark? *cough* Ironman *cough*

Not all of em, just HITMAN.
Mortal Kombat and DOA were OK.
I enjoyed watching them, Tomb Raider was plain stupid. (Not to mention expensive)
Street Fighter worked well as an anime and the movie was just plain silly.
The idea of the Vatican having cloned killers with babyfaces and barcodes tattoes that are viewable is just silly. Who's gonna swallow that?

Would you have perferred him to not have the tatt at all?
or
Given him a full head of hair?

They should have at least invisible ink.
Tatoos only visible with special glasses for identification.
Jason Statham looks like a better choice to me.
Not all comic books movies are great, only the Supeman trilogy, Judge Dredd , BLADE and the Crow seem to work well.

I understand where you're coming from.
But, all of them are far-fetched so none of them can be swallowed.
Plus, Hitman is'nt so much like the trailers...it's just marketing.
Not good marketing but still marketing.
It will have plenty of what we love about the games.

Hey everyone...saw Hitman today.
It is the best video game to film adaptation so far in my opinion.
Olyphant did good and the film itself felt like the game.

Well, I like the easter egg where he sumbles upon a couple of kids that are indeed playing the hitman videogame, only saw that clip. The films sin't out yet in my country.

More shooting then in the trailer? Blood...Head being blownaway?

Don't get me wrong.
There are shooting and explosions but there is really only one real BIG action scene.
It is the scene in Udre's lair.
And there is a particularly satisfying headshot via sniper rifle.
Anyway, the action and stealth are balanced rather nicely.
The sword fight wasn't needed but it was done well.
Other than that.....if you liked the games...give it a watch.

Uhoh... you've gone and given me expectations for this film now.
11-24-2007, 07:34 PM
I wasn't expecting anything and considering the reviews I'm expecting even less.
11-24-2007, 11:38 PM
Yeah, maybe if we expect something of RE3 caliber then we'll be impressed when we actually get to watch it. Why hasn't it come here yet? Hell, I've never even see a poster or trailer for it here yet.
