Yeah, if it's a really big movie then we get it earlier than the U.S. same as in Australia but if it's a so-so movie or even a little unknown than their or chances that we will get it quite late. The latest we ever got a movie was Rat Race. I had the DVD for over 2 years before it showed up here. Not sure what happened there. Maybe they misplaced it??

Yeah, but I played the PC versions not on any of the systems.
There is really no differance.
I mean the film tends to be more like Blood Money but it's still Hitman.
I'm sticking with it and saying it's the best video game movie so far.

Okay, so I saw it last week. And in all honesty... it actually wasn't bad. And for me to say that is a lot. And it is easily the best video game movie until Kojima picks the right guy for the inevitable MGS movie.
(MGS > Hitman obviously)
But yes, entertaining flick. Don't go in with high expectations, go in expecting entertainment and you'll not be disappointed. The soundtrack was good, my only real problem that was occasionally the acting was very poor.
For example, there is a scene with 47 and the chick (strange... 47 never was one for love interests) in a car and the dialouge delivered by 47 just sounds so bad. My only thought was he woke up and said "Today I'm not going to act."
It's not out yet in my country so I gotta wait till next year I think, maybe January or february.
They're showing ROGUE and BEOWULF.
Rogue is awesome (Australian film ftw) and Beowulf is okay... but not great.

HITMAN is coming out in a few weeks late, I think we must be the last country who receives movies very late.

You know what? I just spent some time playing all 4 Hitman games just so I could compare them as a companion piece to the film. I know...no life right?
Anyway, I found that the film was a stand-alone story arc of course but still very accurate.
The only problem with Olyphant is that he tends to show a lot of emotion with his face (maybe not always on purpose) but that is his only flaw as 47. He is emotionless for the jist of the film but on occasion you'll see some.
The film itself is a worthy companion to the games.
BTW...LMX you said he isn't one for love interests...true.

Nika is actually supposed to be a play on the sex slave that 47 used to get to a target in Hitman: Codename 47...or maybe it was Contracts...can't remember exactly. Either way...she's really just a nod to the games.
This movie is finally coming here in a couple of weeks and I'm looking forward to seeing it now.
