Well, I'm going back tomorrow. I really wish I could afford to have two systems, but I need to meet a quota at the end of each month to put down for a new house, so yea, adult life doesnt make it easier...
Anyway, here's some of my thoughts.
-360 is now fixed
-360s got better the games
-1 year later, and PS3 doesnt even have the graphics 1 year (Gears) 360 games did
-Blu-ray HD-DVD is going to rage on
-XBL>PSN, I've played next to no online on PS3, it sucks, and I've played the system very little
-I can recover my game saves from Microsoft's servers, and pick back up
So, should I do it? H3 got me wanting my Xbox back.
it's up to you, bro.
btw, how do you recover game saves from MS' servers?

If you recover your Xbox Live gamertag onto a new console, it downloads all of your game saves.
that's the first i've ever heard of this and i dont believe it's possible.
you can recover you gamertag but not your saved memory such as demos, videos, and ect....
jus because that stuff is stored on your HDD or MC
if so why does it take like an hour to download my gamertag?

You can recover your saved game progress in games, just not videos/music, just game progress. That's why recovery takes so long.

so are you saying that youve recovered your gamertag, but more importantly game saves before off XBL?

oh now i see.
Just curious... I've been wanting to become a Wii60 owner and was wondering... does all of this gamer tag, xbox live, etc. stuff get explained well in the manuals? all of this discussion and I have no clue what you're talking about.
sorry I'm a bit off topic, but I thirst for useless gaming knowledge

Theres not that much to understand. Once you own one then it just becomes part of your knowledge automaticly

does nintendo explain these 16 digit code to add your friend?
I say you go with the xbox. I'm not even a Halo fan and I like the game more than I should.
I am a Wii360 owner and I have to say...its awesome. Its the best of both worlds.
I'll skip talking about the Wii and go straight to the 360, to save time:
Yes, Xbox Live (XBL) is the #1 online video game service right now. Free demos, game videos, and sometimes free gamerpics, wallpaper themes, even free movies and TV episodes (again, sometimes). You can easily see who among your friends is online and what they're doing. You can be doing two seperate tasks (him watching a movie, you playing a game) and still talk in real time chat if you want.
Then there's the games:
Halo 3: Simply incredible. I was just starting to mess with the Theater option (which allows you to make film clips and photos of matches you played and send them to friends). This is a blast all by itself.
Gears of War: Yeah, everyone's on H3 but this is still a great game. Can't deny that.
Then there's the stuff coming out for it this month through the end of the year:
Assassin's Creed, The Orange Box, Ace Combat 6, Mass Effect
Its a great way to go and I highly approve of the decision.
As for the PS3, I will get one...eventually. But the price has to drop and I really need a better TV before I take that step (1-3 years from now, looks like).
