alot of you are probably too younge to understand or see this movie but i just got back from it on saturday and i absolutely loved it.

not only did i have an uncle in iraq whos in the JAG corps, personal friends who do a similar line of work as FAs and friends of friends who are just in the armed services- this movie was perfectly done.

it wasnt overly political although it deff had a "right wing" intent.

i enjoyed the movie alot........however upon leaving, i did have a sudden inkling to buy more 223 ammo Ph43r M3h

if youre big into the war in the middle east id deff say- this is a movie you need to see
I thought .223 was going to be outlawed...also...if it's good enough for you to actually pay for, I'll have to give it a rent.
The Kingdom was a pretty good film.
I enjoyed it.
I was actually suprised at how good it was.
Sounds like a movie i'd like. I do have a brother over there right now who blows up ied's and i plan on volunteering to go in another year when i'm done with school.

.223 = 5.65mm.....i think, which is the ammo used for the M16 and M4.
blue- i live in NY and brawny knows that 223 is VERY hard to come by for civilian usage (i dont have that problem since im not a civilian).

theres a ban going on that started in NJ i believe heavily limiting ammo for semi automatic rifles which includded 223.

i own an ar15 m4 carbine rifle and i have 223 but you can never have TOO MUCH

and brawny, who said that i paid? lmao my bf actually paid, we went for a 1120 showing on a saturday afternoon/morning. $6 per person......out on long island we city cops gotta pay....only cops out in suffolk get in for free...bastards!

so yeah it was worth it to see in theaters. i had it at home and started watching a litlte bit of it but i couldnt give it the attention that it needed and fell asleep 30 min into the film. i enjoyed it better at the theaters
Yeah thats why i love living in ND, Guns almost whereever you go, and the crimerate is alot lower too Toungue I personally own a 7MM Mag rifle and a little piddly .22 rifle.

hey if they shoot they shoot Smile i own too many between my bf and myself......DOH! >_< hes worse than me though.

i wish i lived in a free state....all the more reason as to WHY i miss living in TN....sigh....

Free? As apposed to slave? Toungue

Yeah, Michigan's pretty divided. IMO, we should just cut detroit out of the state and call west Michigan an Independent state.... The gun control laws haven't gotten over here....the representatives from the left half still overrule those crazy dems from Detroit....but only barely.

Overall....got a 12 and 20 gauge and a 30-30 that only I shoot, the 7 mag, .44 mag rev, .308, among other, smaller firearms is what my family owns.

When did this come out in theaters?
it is out already- came out last friday
I didnt think it was that good for some reason. And like the beginning thing of the oil, didnt have nothing to do with the plot of the movie. And i thought it was actually about the war, but it had NOTHING AT ALL to do with a war!
reason WHY they went into detail about the oil is because they wanted to show us why we have ties to iraq to begin with. there was a story behind it and they went into the politcal scheme of it.

there was a relation to the war in iraq and the movie. what is it you ask? well, the investigators that go over there for months or longer/shorter at a time are there to check up on the civilization and the bombings that go on. there are terrorist attacks that still happen even though we killed sadam and the war is "over" so to speak.

so if anything it does have to deal with the war in iraq but not through a soldiers eyes- this is through the FBI
Oh ok! Thanx for explaining that to me! Smile
