I just picked this up for $15 used at EB games. After good reviews on major sites, I decided to try it out.

All I have to say is the game was a piece of art, everything about it was inspired. The visuals, landscapes, movements, and graphics were all beautiful and artistically thought out. Also what's different about this adventure game is that there are only 16 monsters in this WHOLE game, and all of them are bosses. Each one of them takes a strategic way of killing it.

This game has been one of the best and probably the most beautiful experience I've ever had on the PS2. This game is a definite pick-up...now only if I can get my hands on Ico Really Happy.
Now if only the controls weren't so goddamned clunky. Even so, didn't keep me from beating it on every difficulty/trial.
I've heard some amazing things about this game, but have never played it. It has gotten some great reviews, but I'd consider this a sleeper for the PS2. Hopefully we'll see a PS3 version.
That was a great little game. Admittedly it can get tedious after a while by its nature, but it's loads of fun taking down the colossi, and visually it's amazing. Fumito Ueda's games are about as close to art as video games get.
It amazes to hear about games like this one, and to then see what the next gen games look like. A little off topic, but I was playing FF Crystal Chronicals the other day (for the GC) and not only myself but the person who was with me commented how much better that games looks compared to many of the Wii games.

I hope we see some real masterpieces on the next gen systems eventually.
