i agree d4rk. IMO, Sonic fits BETTER than Snake

Those going should try out the Dark Link costume, try the Metroid stage, and check out the new Sheik.

Zelda isn't playable in the demo
but this tells me that Sheik IS in
(purely speculation, but COME ON, why ELSE wouldn't she be playable?

Sheik's model was confirmed. I'm just interested how it looks and how her attack power has changed.

So from those videos are those just a demo or is that who the characters are going to be when you start out?
10-11-2007, 04:39 PM
Those characters are probably only for demo purposes. Not unless they wanted to have more characters as unlockables since the roster has expanded.
10-11-2007, 04:42 PM
Ya because i was going to say that isnt very many characters to start out with.
10-11-2007, 05:19 PM
im assuming that we won't start out with many, anyway. but i feel like theyll change the line-up on the demo, only letting us play characters that we've heard a lot about up to that point. aka no new characters, no jiggs, etc.
p.s. only way to see if G4 will have videos will be to check their site about upcoming events. not that hard to do...but chances are they'll only have videos of the floor, an interview with one or two people, and the general stuff they do. we'll give you hands on stuff, random things they wouldn't show, etc. if theres anything in particular you want to see, let us know. and dont just give us moves and stuff for Brawl...its not the only game demo there -_-

i dont care how it comes. retail stores, download channel, NP mag. surprise, or whatever else there is. i mean its possible to release a beta just as they did with Halo 3, with online.

i get to go to E For All for one day! Brawl here I come!

I heavily doubt a Brawl demo beyond EfA. There was even an interview that mentioned it not being likely.

There is also BWii, there's hardly enough info on that game. See if it's an improvement on the last, only multiplayer modes have been available though. and don't forget about SMG

Test. Wavedash.
According to NeoGAF and people on the Smashboards, Wavedash is no longer present; the problem is the way air-dodge mechanics work in Brawl.

I read that. And we'll wait til pros test it as opposed to the newbs.
And whilst I will be sad to bid wavedash farewell, there is still a heavy arsenal of other advanced tech that we advanced Smashers can use at our tournaments.

Theres still hope since they are still working on the game.

And plus there may be a new tech similiar to it. We'll know a lot more of the game by mid next year.
