Fans of retro games may want to pay close attention to Atari Classics Evolved. More than just a collection of the constantly-rehashed Atari games of yore, this PSP-exclusive collection remasters the visual presentation by completely redesigning the graphics of these classics. Check out Asteroids, featured above. Check out the rest at IGN.

I don't know how everyone else is about these types of games, but I generally shy away from them. I mean it's cool for nostalgic reasons to play these sorts of games, but it's very easy to be disappointed with the beeps and bumps of old atari games, and with that, sometimes it's just better to remember them for what they were.
That being said, if this PSP version does ramp up the graphics and give us some new visuals, then it might just be worth a pickup. I wouldn't expect to pay much for this, maybe $19.99, but for that price I'd walk down memory lane again.
