But today at Nintendo's Tokyo Conference, the tables were turned, and they're staying that way. The one that clearly stands out above them all is "Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Little King and the Promised Land", which is essentially a country-building game, with its own story, based slightly after the original Crystal Chronicles game for Gamecube. This will cost 1500 Wii points ($15 / €15), and seems like a bargain for what we appear to be getting. Does this mean Square Enix is taking Wii seriously?
Hudson Soft, a dedicated Wii supporter since the start has already layed down its arms for WiiWare, announcing titles such as Bomberman, Star Soldier R, and Joysound, a karaoke game would you believe!
Namco Bandai has forwarded a game called Mojipittan, a Japanese word-puzzle game. This is sure to get our prefrontal cortex booming, or so Dr. Kawashima might say!
And last, but definitely not least, Nintendo. The father of WiiWare has announced some big titles for its offspring. Remember when the ESRB has registered a little game called "Dr. Mario"? Well it turns out it's getting released in software download form, lining up alongside games like Pokémon Farm, Puzzloop for Everyone, and Maruboushikaku. All of Nintendo's titles appear to incorporate the Mii system in some way or another.
WiiWare just became big indeed!
