According to the Nintendo official Press Room there will be a Limited edition Mario Coin when you pre-order Mario Galaxy from selected retailers! If were to make 100 pre-orders, I wonder if you'd get an extra life? Well, I don't want anyone jumping off something high anyway...
Anyway, provided you stop by at one of the participating retailers through November 11th and pre-order a copy of Mario Galaxy you will be able to claim the silvery treat as
"an eternal testament to your foresight"
There is no word on these selected retailers yet, but I'm sure if you look hard enough you can find them. So, how about we all pitch together to find out who's doing the promotion!

I have the same question I posed in the original thread by ninjarooster...
If I pre-ordered BEFORE this announcement at a retailer participating in this promotion, will I still get one? (I pre-ordered at GameStop, and I'm pretty sure, as one of the biggest video game retailers in the states, that they'll be participating)
