Lucario can't KO with its Down Smash at 12%...
The only thing you can say is cheap about Lucario is his Revenge ability. But that's not even a true cheap, cause it makes things unpredictable combo wise.
First impressions:
Fox: "LANDMASTER!" = *thumbs up*
Metaknight = James Earl Jones
Ike: "I fight for my friends!" = *thumbs down*

Me: "Sonic hasn't updated his vocabulary since that awful television show he had in the nineties..."
And everything Metal Gear is done amazingly well.

well marth was still in japanese in Melee. Perhaps they just wanted to preserve that? But then why did they dub Ike? And that Ash is definitely the same from the Diamond and Pearl versions of the show.
On that note:

I haven't seen Snake Punch yet. That sounds amazing.
And I'll have to concede that point to you then, I haven't caught an episode of Pokemon since the Orange Islands series. I got tired of the super kiddy approach (Avatar is a much more mature kids show... I'm lame). I guess Ash lost a testicle or two during his adventures, cos it's definitely less masculine than the earlier shows.

I've only ever seen it called a Hookshot, that was why I was confused at first.

I don't think that's ash from the d/p anime it's slightly different. There are also conversations on Lylat Cruise, that's why Crystal voice actor is there.

And Ash's new voice probably has something to do with Charizard. Yes i too remember the show. When you spent your childhood watching those episodes like religiously you remember this sort of thing.
As I was expecting the only voices worth noting are the Metal Gear ones. And that's because they are veterans.
The others are all ordinary. Good thing this is a fighting game and the VA's don't matter.
