After looking at it, I said to myself "wow, whoever sees it clockwise is crazy"... then after staring at it, I got it to change (look at the foot, pause the animation, and think if the foot should go behind the vertical leg, or in front). Now I can go back and forth at will. w00t.

I see both. I opened the image in two windows and looked at them at the same time xD
One on the left is clockwise, while the one on the right is counter...
Which makes perfect sense since the right side of your brain controls the left side of your body (in this case eye-sight) and vice versa.
Also I mangaged to make at flip at will, when doing math equations in my head, it goes clockwise, but while when I'm thinking about the idea of "God" it spins counter clock wise.
Depends on what I'm thinking about about I guess >.>

i first saw it counter clockwise (left ftw) but if i concentrate on just the foot i can get it to switch for me from one to the other

Whoa wtf? It was going counter-clockwise when I opened the thread, then I looked at my tv, looked back and it's been going clockwise ever since.
