Okami has been "confirmed" for Wii. Eventhough this rumor's been floating around for a while I'd take it with a grain of salt. However, when a
rumor* refuses to die like this one there's usually some truth to it.
Okami is the critically acclaimed and award winning PS2 title released in September of last year. Unfortunately developer Clover Studio was closed by Capcom not long after its release. Although the closer of Clover may not hurt whatever chances a Wii version of
Okami may have, it could possibly hurt the quality of the port.

Hell yes. I played a demo of that game on PS2 for a WHILE.
i wouldn't be at all surprised if Capcom was planning on releasing Okami onto the Wii. It's done stuff like this before...

Now, according to French website Jeuxactu.com, Capcom's Okami has been "confirmé" for the Nintendo Wii. The site goes on to say -- in our machine-translated copy -- that the game is expected in early 2008, although no source for the information is given.

So I'm still calling it a rumor until someone can come up with a source either from Nintendo or Capcom telling us this game is coming to the Wii.
I think its gonna come out nonetheless. The control scheme could work perfectly.
It makes perfect sense to be on the Wii.
