i was there today! i wish I could've gotten to see you guys...then again I'm a little afraid of D4rk getting drunk...and LZ cause she just scares me...
Are you guys getting harassed? I read a horror story on NeoGAF:
...Nintendo enforced the lame ass "lifestyle" policy, although average joes with cell phone cams or DV handycams were shooting all the footage they could without any warning. They were purposely going after press people to prevent them from getting good footage, going so far as to touch the cameras while we played if they didn't like what we were getting.
I highly suggest using the FALCON PUNCH if they give you any nonsense.
Still, Gametrailers.com is going absolutely nuts with videos from E, so I wonder if this guy was just being a dork with some outdated P.O.S. super camera that took up too much space?
pretty much. i think there was one guy who said they didn't mind us filming some stuff, but didn't want us filming everything going on, but he left and we kept shooting. otherwise we openly recorded where everyone could see and were told nothing. only place there is NO cameras allowed is the MGS4 demo area. didn't get to go in yet, but don't expect anything from there aside from spoken/typed reviews
brawl is ... well, it's SSB. it's just about the same thing as the past 2. like asking if SSBM was fun compared to SSB64. well of course. it's still SSB, but as i said, we'll get more in depth in fully developed threads soon

Sweet, that's cool guys. Glad you had fun
The only thing I'd be curious about with MGS4? The controls. As time marches on the old schemes work less and less, and I'm hoping the western influence got them to give us a scheme that feels fluid.
I've read that an American member of Kojima's team snuck an Xbox 360 into their office to entice them into trying out games like "Gears of War" and "Rainbow Six: Vegas", which in turn inspired them to experiment with new controls.
I liked the controls in the other MGS games.
Liked. Not loved. The free-camera in Subsistence helped out greatly, though.
The trailers show all sorts of new perspectives and ways to play, which has me delighted. I'm a fan of over-the-shoulder shooting versus how it's been done in the past. Hell, in the original Snake Eater there were so many times when people would be shooting at you from somewhere offscreen, and you'd have to stand still and check in First-Person to shoot back.
Just so you guys know, my flight is currently grounded due to weather, and they expect Atlanta to be more of the same. In other words, I'll be there as soon as I can.
That sucks z6, hope everything works out and you can get there at a decent time.

sucks to hear that, hope you dont miss too much.
Yeah i heard there was a bad storm down in that area, i know a tornado touched down in datona, fl and another one in missouri somewhere and its been raining here in nd for like 3 or 4 days straight now. Kinda wonder when it'll turn to snow. But you'll get there sooner or later, hopefully sooner.
The press thing is stupid, the offical rules are that you can film as much as you like, so long as it's not completely on the screen, you gotta have the player in-shot too
That is one retarted rule, i say zoom in when they're not looking d: But anyways what do you think of it so far other than those goofy rules.
Suppose it makes sense, but it is very strict

D4rk! You were nuts on Skype earlier xD How much sleep did you get? You were crazier than Mew2King when he found out Wavedashing wasn't in Brawl.
WiiLFEX08 ftw.
Haha, cool. D4rk is hocked out on awesome sauce

I know you were joking but that's one of the last things we'd want to do. Getting a bad reputation in the gaming industry so early on wouldn't be nice.
P.S. When are you guys gonna get the pictures and videos to us?
Yeah I suppose IGN always follow those rules
A bad reputation? Why I do believe that would give 'us' a reputation for being awesome.
Because we are trying to make WiiLoaded look as professional as possible. Me and Kindrik do our best in the News Portal.
