Well, i drove for 6.5 hrs to get here, LZ got utterly screwed on her flight and arrived almost 4 hrs later than anticipated, and d4rk spent $20 on coffee and $20 on some sort of charity while waiting at the airport for 4hrs (he still won't tell me what charity).
We shall continue updating everyone on our adventures in LA as the days progress. Stay tuned for all the drunken video game expo fun ^_^

when D4rk and I came into the downtown area, the Staples Center was aglow. didn't get a chance to see it up-close and personal yet, but we'll have the inside scoop once VGL goes on Friday night.
d4rk thinks im on something...but im not! i swear it! im just seeing glowy things, and writing a paper due tomorrow morning on a mac that i forgot my power cord for >.>

Since you're there, keep an eye out for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. With all the excitement over Brawl, everyone's seemed to look over the fact MGS4 is also a playable demo.
The question of the hour? Do the controls suck? They've claimed up and down that they've "Americanized" the scheme (I.E. Less Clunky), but I have my doubts.

not really unless it was awkward between LZ and d4rk, but when they came into the hotel room with me it was fine. d4rk jumped on the bed to claim it, LZ plugged in her dozen various things, and we laughed about...something. i don't remember. it was fun tho ^_^

pictures may be late, but we'll have em. LZ's in charge of the videos and pictures, and she has cameras for it, but with her laptop dying and no software to make them work on PCs, we may not be able to put them up until she gets back from the trip. they'll definitely go up eventually tho. until then we may just post threads regarding what we find
