Now it's official. Okami has been confirmed by Capcom to be coming to Wii. Just
yesterday the rumor returned and as I thought, there was more than a shred of truth to it. A spring release is planned.
Due to Capcom's closer of Clover Studios, the game will be developed
by Ready at Dawn known for
Daxter and
God of War: Chains of Olympus for the PSP. Hopefully their inexperience with home consoles won't be a factor in porting
Okami over but it shouldn't be hard to get a PS2 game working on Wii. See
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2,
Driver: Parallel Lines,
Tomb Raider: Anniversary,
Scarface, and so on.
