Ok i've never done an announcemwent before, so this may suck. So on that not, i'm just gonna say it in my own words and give you a link.

Today Ubisoft, one of the worlds largest video game publisher anounced that multi-platinum selling, rock history making, "rock band" KoRn has written and already recorded a single for Haze, called Haze apparently, which is not on their latest 'Untitled' (literaly) album. The highly anticipated song *crikets* well for me at least, will be released on radio and video (i'm assuming this means they made a video for it too?) in November. To coincide the launch of Haze. And for once in these band member lives, they want you to download it. (I assume it will also come out on a single CD with maybe a remix.)
Jonathan Davis, lead singer of KoRn, is an Xbox fan himself. "Gaming for me is a religion and Haze is the s@%*!” said Jonathan Davis. “I had to come up with a track that can hit up that kind of rush I get from the game and I think we really rocked it!!"
This deal with KoRn is a first for ubisoft and marks a time in history for, I guess, marketing strategies for video games.“This partnership with Korn is original in the video game industry in that the song will be released and promoted as a full-fledged single, and not just as a download with the video game,” stated Christian Salomon, vice president of worldwide licensing at Ubisoft. “It is a testament to the synergy possibilities between music and video games, which often share the same audience.”
---------------------------------------------------------------------
And according to my knowledge, Free Radical, my favorite gameing company, has worked on this game, sorry if i'm mistaken.
Now you would assume that if any video game, KoRn would be on guitar Hero, well apparently not. They have their single 'Blind' on an NHL game I think too, but that wasn't all that big, for that game they actualy wrote a song for it! Now that shows how cool and awesome this band it.
Excuse my rambling. Teh Sourcemanship
