Are the getting worse and worse each year. the ash and smoke has completely covered the sky and the sun is a bright orange color, i didnt take any pics... a friend of mine did so i may take his and post them. but this has to be the worst fire ever. its too close for my taste... i live just 45 mins away from the central fires and all the FDLA are away to the fire... =[

Yes, it's really scary how bad they're getting. I really hope they won't continue. What a horrible occurence... Let's hope no more get out of control, let alone start.

Nah, I remember a fire in SoCal where the smoke actually reached us in Sacramento. I was like "wtf? why's the sky orange and creepy?", but it is scorching down there, I know that much. Where's FLUDD when you need him?

from what I gathered from CNN whilst I was there there were wildfires because of the heat and then there was a really strong wind on one of the days we were there and then it started to spread rapidly
