That game rocked on PS2... I wonder what changes are in the XB360 version...
well, i havent played any other version of it, but the graphics are obviously more refined. they make good use of the lighting, sounds, and reflection. i actually enjoyed the demo. you can tell that there's a lot to unlock in this game, plus it does storytelling pretty well without the acual use of dialogue. humorous too.
Yeah, I thought the LEGO Star Wars 2 Demo was one of the good demos on the Marketplace.

my bro was pretty good at it. he was doing some insane ****, but he could do the 'nail the trick' moves either.

THP8 demo was very impressive and addicting heh, with the ladderboards and everything, very worth the download time. There were some of physics problem however, where you go flying to places you shouldnt, and others, although i do like it that you can control how your player falls.
The "nail the trick" moves require some learning cureve but once you get the hang of it they are pretty easy at least to me. You just wait till the griptape is up and do annother trick and so on.
The graphics were good and quite a jump from american wasteland crappy port.
The animations is where it is at, you can see your person moving their feet in order to flip/grap their boards and everything. This game is reallllly promessing

Yeah THP8 is a good advancement in the series. THe NTT thing is easy once you learn to use the analog sticks like the d-pad.

And i will not be surprized if THP8 gets around a 9/10 in sites like IGN or GS

In comparison to the previous THPS games, it's a big improvement to me.

Eragon demo is up, but only for gold subscribers.

Eragon demo impressions:
it's a cool demo. graphics need a lot of work. i dont like the control layout; mainly where they put the jump button(Y). gameplay is pretty cool. there's a lot of different animations for the characters which keeps things fresh, and it's definitely not just a hack and slash. i died a few times trying to just fight my way through the crowd of enemies. the game would be better if the player could control the camera too. there were times when there's a wooden beam in my way and couldnt see what the enemy was doing. sound and voice acting are okay; nothing spectacular.
is it worth $60? no. maybe $40, but there would have to be a drought of new games and unfortunately for it, this game is supposed to be out Nov. 14.
