Oh wow, the game looks awsome. It's very similar to SSB tho. The respawn point looks much like it and its a similar concept, looking forward to it.
I downloaded cars, and its pretty good. You can do a race or tractor tipping (cars version of cow tipping) it was pretty good, and I'd say a $50-$60 price tag would be worth it. Graphics were pretty good too
played the small arms trial and didnt like it. maybe it's just not my kind of game. seemed like mindless shooting and jumping around. there really wasnt any way to string combos or pull of a special move(not the secondary attack) and there seemed a lack of weapons; that could just be because it was the trial version an not the full version. i was impressed with the graphics and animations though. for an xbla game, it looks really good. if youre a huge fan of the SSB series, then you'll probably like this one, but once SSBB comes out, you'll never go back to it.

Damn, I am disapointed by the lost planet online demo. Takes a while to turn around, eventhough you can just hit the RB or LB buttons to turn 90 degrees, but thats pretty messy. The only graphics I found good was the damn snow, and thats about it. Grapling, and the weard health system was the only thing that I found appealing.
i gotta admit that i was totally turned off by the controls at first, but after playing a few games, it becomes 2nd nature. i was just too used to gears of war's control scheme. it's crazy to see the insasne amount of weapons and grenades for this game. i loved that, but some of the stronger weapons are a bit unbalanced. the map is medium sized; not too big or too small. i liked it. graphics and animations are really good. the weapons sound effects need some punch behing them. feels like im shooting a paintball gun. the explosions look and sound really good.
i do have a few complaints though. i wish there a sound effect when you either die or while youre getting shot. the rumble is so subtle that i cant even tell it's rumbling. when a team member is talking, i wish there was some sort of icon or something similar like halo2's to let you know who's talking. one thing i can see experienced people exploit is the spawn camping/killing. theres like 2 spawn points and they're both near each other. if the other team takes a group of 4-5 to the spawn point, you're a sitting duck.
still not sure if i want to pick this one up yet. i'll be getting R6:V early december and LP supposedly comes out jan. 07. if it's late jan, then i'll get it. single player definitely looks like fun.
well, i've been playing the LP demo some more and im really liking it. liking it enough that im probably gonna purchase it. once i got the controls down, everything seemed to fall in place. the pace at first i thought was slow, but the battles do get intense especially when youre playing in a room with 10-16 people. i like the fact that LP's version of deathmatch has a nice twist and depth to it which i think it totally needed to make the game more unique. i also cant wait to try out the other maps and the 2 other gametypes which are supposed to something similar to halo2's territory and juggernaut. if you havent d/l'ed the demo, give it a go, and if you have and didnt like it, you need to play it some more for the gameplay to fully sink in.
splinter cell: DA singleplayer demo is up, and so is the college hoops 2k7 demo.
and for the xbla,
RoboBlitz was just released today. looks pretty impressive for an arcade game.
