wow... i now feel that my purchase of a wii has been justified... *feels bad about this statement but feels its justified* i mean come on, couldnt they put these resources to something that will actually use.

The writer strike is in effect already. But either end will hafta come to some solution b/c the writers would be out of a job, and the networks would be out of ratings. Sooo.. by the time this channel reaches us hopefully this will have been resolved!

TV-Guide channel = worseless since I have a Rogers Box.
But at least Nintendo is trying. I'd rather is preview channels where you can download at least video's for new Nintendo Games.

THIS JUST IN! Nintendo has announced a new Wii Channel called the "Fridge Channel!" In it, you can organize food items in a virtual refrigerator. Cool! Watch out when you run out of space, though! You just might have to throw out that old jug of milk to make room for...a slice of bacon?

Now theirs a channel to replace the TV Guide channel I ALREADY have, in addition to my TiVo channel guide and my Comcast DVR channel guide, the newspaper, and the newspaper TV guide supplement that comes each week! Sweet! I can quadruple check all my resources! Never again will I have a panic attack because I cant check at least three sources for that Mama's House re-run schedule! Sweet!
But yeah, dumb. WoT. Why couldnt they pour all that development time into, say, putting better back catalogue games on the shopping channel? I'd much rather have LoZ MM right now instead of....a Mii contest channel, TV Guide channel, and so-bland-its-barely-fun "everyone" votes channel...

you wouldnt be, you just wouldnt be able to use ur HDTV, unless nintendo wanted to be really nice and make a Wii that had a HDD, HDTV comatablity and came in black... but if that happened i think the apocalypse would come at the same time...
You know its kind of sad, both of the current Gen consoles sell different models for different levels of usability, but Nintendo doesnt want to make all these things cause it will make things "uneasy" for the casual gamer, why not just make a second model that would have these features, everyone else does, why not N.
cause then i'd have to get ANOTHER Wii, and i'd have new codes for everything, and...
honestly, friend/wii codes are the biggest reason i DON'T want a better version out--i don't want to have to deal with that crap AGAIN...
