As you know I had the choice between Halo and Metroid and yes I choose Halo. Was it the right choice for ME?

Yes it was. As I played the first few hours of the campaign I have mixed feelings on the game, the graphics are ok but dont feel as polished as they should be. Also some textures look rather bad when close up. The gameplay is good but up to now I nothing has wow'd me completely! I must say the bosses are amazing to play agains! Driving vechicles is also fun. I could go on about how great the game is but im not going to, considering I havn't completed the game as of yet. Did I mention the online mode is the games strongest point and offers some serious bad ass play. (I love online multiplayer)

Certain people may ask how ino Halo was the right choice, because the friend bought it the same day. Up to now we have played quite a big section of the game and have realised Metroid just isn't my cup of tea.

Telling me "Wow. Epic failure in this thread.

I'm locking it so we can forget we ever saw it." Is just seriously childish and just because someone likes a different type of game and doesn't bum Metroid that you start being arsy.

"Obviously he is a multiplayer casual as that's the only reason to get Halo 3. Which is fine. He may as well commit to the 360 and its frat boy games."
OBVIOUSLY not. I just dont like Metroid. I played it for about 4-5 hours and decided it wasn't for me! GET OVER IT.

Halo 3 is a great game and I reccomend it to most people. Although it is over rated and doesn't quite earn a top top score.
Honestly, having played both thoroughly, Halo 3 offers better bang for the buck. The 6-8 hour single-player game is way too short but still very good, and the multiplayer offers almost infinite replay value. Metroid's 15-20 hour single-player is obviously much more meaty than Halo 3's, but there's not much reason to play it after you're finished other than to find all the collectibles. I recommend both, but if you're strapped for cash then Halo 3 is probably the way to go.
Well at the moment I have a job with no bills to pay which is the great advantage of being a teenager. So now £60-£140 a week can be spent of games. Big Grin

Halo 3= well worth the money.
Ok, so this was posted to say..."get over it?"

=\

You like it though, so that's good for you. I didn't even know Halo had a single player story mode. XP all everyone ever talks about is the online multi-player actions, which sounds to me like it hasn't changed very much since the first game? Not that's it's entirely a bad thing. XP

I can't say too much since I don't play it. But in any case, happy gaming.
