Is ranting at you for an inappropriate use of 'gay' worth it any more?

?_?
I thought you meant call credit

okay, first off the use of the word gay like i used it there and many many many other people has evolved from that of just homosexual, you know it and i know it. (tends to lean more toward the word stupid/dumb when you use it in context like i did there not homosexual, read the wikipedia page.)

secondly, go ahead and start using the word straight or hetro, would i care in the slighest?

thridly, i watched ask a gay guy on dave chappelle deleted scenes, he gave me permission to use that word. its like saying black instead of the n'word.

so no it is not worth it in the slightest to rant.

Find me the proper English definition of gay in the term your using, none of that urban dictionary stuff please.

The fact of the matter isn't your not aloud to say gay, say it all you want as long as it is being used correctly, using 'Gay' as a bad thing is a no.

Your example of straight and hetro is terrible, find a quote of me using Straight or Hetro instead of a phrase such as 'that sucks' or 'thats terrible', those words are not words which people are using as a negative adjective or phrase.

Now, now boys........ shut up! ^_^

True, "gay" has become quite a Swiss-Army-Word

replacing the word stupid with gay,  may not be correct but its popcultre. no matter what mr webster thinks

and about the hetro thing, im saying start saying it like that see if i care. instead of saying thats so stupid say "thats to hetro" if it makes you feel better,

but fact of the matter is:
in todays world the word gay has two meanings
he is "gay" (gay = homosexual)
thats "gay" (gay = stupid)

try changing the world, then ill change.

back on topic, anyone else here bummed abuot this?

Heh, how does 'thats so stupid' translate to 'thats to hetro'.

Well I think I might go on and talk proper English, you keep to your pop culture generated slang and using a term in an offensive manner.

You may not care but not everyone is you are they?

Heh, it would take me to change the pop culture to change your speech?

also, double post, could of editted.

STFU!
Capt. - shush. go back on topic, now. you have yet to post anything related to the original intent of this thread. he made a separate post to bring this thread back on topic, and thats what we're doing. don't make me warn you.

i dont plan on buying an iphone. but if i did, i dont think i would be affected by this too much. being a college student, i buy meals with a meal card, and any money i get from work study goes straight into a bank back home. so if i need to buy anything, i use my debit card, which works as a credit card. so anybody that has a bank account should still be able to buy the iphone, even if they don't own a credit card per se.

i never carry more than $5 around on me unless im going somewhere that i think wont accept credit cards.

i do, however, think its wrong for Apple to tell people that cash won't be accepted. like it was mentioned: who doesnt accept cash (aside from people online)?

Heh, I won't shush. I might however go on topic. I got warned for sticking for the correct use of Gay last time with FELX...

Possibly edit the word gay from the first post if you will please?

Now I will go for the original purpose of this thread, this may put a lot of people off buying it, however if children such as myself can get a debit card from 12+ the phone is still widely available.

i find it horribly wrong, and a bad decision on there part they will loose money thats for sure and for what? just to ensure that not many iphones are re-sold. wth thats just dumb (there are you happy?). and with the rumors of the iphone coming to canada in time for the holidays.. to be honest i love the iphone i had the opportunity to try it out at the apple store in NYC and ill be getting one! (even if its in a couple of years) i guess ill have to get it re-sold lol dang

btw heres a pic of a "leaked" add for the iphone in canada, some speculate that its fake.

And here i am all my life thinking gay meant happy...
Anyways, on topic, I don't even have a cell phone yet, so it may be harder in the future to get one.
Is this even legal? Every bill says "legal tender"....... If both parties agree on a deal, the seller must accept the tender as official payment. So the way to be legal is to not agree to the deal.....

And anyone reselling would need a credit card to back up their paypal account...... The kids are the ones who suffer.

Your bills also say "In God We Trust"

I don't trust in any "god"?

and your laws also say something about free speech, yet...
*ponders*
This thread has already gone off topic one to many times.

Firstly, the iPhone is way to much for a "multimedia device", in my opinion anyway.
I'll never get around to using even half the features.

But yes, I personally hate credit cards, I prefer cash, which is why I stay away from internet dealings. I don't think I'm the only one.. but I'm pretty sure I'm the only 17 year old still without a cell. So what do I know?

i was in the same boat as you.. err day of my life. until yesterday

gah.. its inevitable.. I'm gonna have to get one of those annoying things.
I don't mind texting once in a while, (In Europe I got a taste for it) but here in Canada its not so big.. and a lot more expensive. (about 20x more)

(By 'those' I mean a cell, iPhone is in no way available for a University hopeful like me)

Never dealt with cells, so I don't know what I'd prefer, I've only delt with "pay as you go" type cells. So I'm not too sure how this debit thing works. Don't you pay in advance anyways?
@ all the UK'ers

Three letters....BNP Toungue

Also debit cards are attached directly to a bank account and can be used online......if you have the cash, just deposit it and reference it with a debit...
