Alright, I was just wondering about the Wii updates.
Do you have to be connected to the internet to get updates? Or when you put in a new game and it needs an update, does it just do it automatically off the disc?

I've never been sure because every time it's done one of those updates after putting in a new game I've always been connected to the internet and I always had the needed update beforehand anyway. I'm not sure if the game is just checking to see if you have the firmware and then starting a download if needed, or if it's installed the update from the disc.
My guess is that it still needs to be downloaded and the disc is only checking.
Nope, the updates are on the discs.
THe ones I know of are MP3, GH, RE4, and strikers.
Thanks Brawny, now I have nothing to worry about. If it had been otherwise, I would have had to go to the local library with my Wii and update it from there.
