yet another pointless channel that'll collect virtual dust. when will we get useful channels? i hope the DS DL channel comes soon.

i hope nintendo will give us an updated set of mii creation options eventually to give more variety to these contests

Downloaded it and I don't mind it. I've just made my "Mario without cap" and have sent it in. I couldn't get the moustache quite right.

lol I think quite a few people will be in the same boat. It would be nice to get an update to the Mii Channel so we can get more creative with these contests.

What would be a nice feature is if Nintendo went as far as showcasing all the sh*tty Mii's only to have them executed in a beautiful South Parkesque fashion...

Well they want to give everybody a chance participate, just like with EVC. Not surprising the first contest involves Mario. Subliminal advertisement And the music isn't annoying.

yeah, the music is an improvement from other channels.

also, as for why the contest has 6 days on it... it's international, and isn't it like that on worldwide EVC polls? maybe we'll get shorter lasting national/regional/whatever contests in the future?

and as for it being Mario themed--who DIDN'T think the first contest would be Mario themed, ESPECIALLY when the channel launched on the same day as SMG? (well, okay, a few hours earlier, but that's cause Nintendo jumped the gun on the channel )

I downloaded and tried it out a couple of minutes ago and it's much better than I expected. I like the way that I can download any of the Miis that I browse through. I picked up a crazy looking skullman one and another one I can't remember now. I'll wait to see the winner of the Mario one and probably download that one as well. It would be awesome if Nintendo gave some kind of prize to the winner like a real Mario Mii or something. That would make people participate more.

What Nintendo needs to do is this:

Start releasing Mii accessory and trait expansion packs.
AND
For winners of the Mii contests depending on whether its worldwide, regional, etc...Reward winners with exclusive Mii add-ons and Wii Points.

Just from looking around at these Miis on the new channel, I can see that people are getting pretty creative to make the characters...its worth having a look. Ill admit I'd love for my Mii Creator popularity to go up...

Screw that, if there is an Add on for the Mii channel, i want it, i dont care if i win or not, and besides if Nintendo goes threw all the trouble of making the add ons, they will give them to everyone. if they are gonna reward them with anything, it should be with Virtual channel points.

When a new question appears it takes 6 days until it's closed for a nationwide question. Worldwide is like 13 days. Mario's new taunt will help me create his Mii

Wii Points that should be the prize, then everyone will try.

I dont know about you guys but i love this channel. I get a ton of Miis from it.
