Wii Modding Information Guide
Types of Chips
First thing to know is the types of chips the Wii has and their compatibility.
GC2-DMS – so far no pins cut and are moddable
GC2R-D2A – so far no pins cut and are moddable
GC2-D2B – found with/without pins cut but both are still moddable
GC2-D2C – so far no pins cut and only compatible with d2ckey modchip
