I was mega bored at home so i was like hey, why not design a ds2, and so i did.



As you can see it looks very similar to the current DS lite. I thought hey, it already looks awesome, y change it alot. The key things you notice is the top screen is bigger. Ive played my friends psp and i always wished ds had a bigger screen like the psp. I wanted to make the lower screen bigger too, but i dont know how i would do this and still have the buttons there, i didnt want it to be too bulky either. I made the speakers also alot bigger, cuz im hoping the ds2 will have mp3 and video support and im thinking bigger speakers = better sound quality, and louder. I would also have the top screen as a touch screen too, cuz why not.... im assuming the ds will also have motion sensitivity in it, cuz it seems that nintendo would do something like that.
O and as for graphics, im guessing nintendo will have better graphics then current psp graphics cuz they wouldnt want critisism on the ds2 graphics being worse then psp 1 graphics, so i just copied goldeneye rogue agent from the GC onto the screen cuz im hoping thats what kind of graphics the ds2 will have,but they will probably be slightly worse.

Multi-touch would be nice.. but haveing the top screen touch screen compromises.

I feel a new handheld doesn't need two screens if I'm honest. Just one big multi-touch widescreen.

Then it wouldn't be a DS would it?

And I wouldn't want a screen bigger then the PSP's... the DS can fold in half, thus taking up half as much space, and fitting in your pocket.
If you had one big screen, you wouldn't be able to fold it in half and that would be a monster of a handheld.

And multi-touch is overrated. I don't want to pay 200+$ for that single peice of technology. And it would render both may hands occupied, as each one would be required to hold a stylus, and don't you dare say to get rid of the buttons.

Well Nintendo don't exactly follow the same routine. Its not their style to have 1...2..3. They usually go for something new re-make it similar (DS LITE) then move on. So for all you know the next handheld could be one big screen.

i doubt it..look how long the gameboy stayed the same for.. they just made a bigger screen and updated the graphics.
Also i think nintendo will want backwards capabilties with ds games, so they will need 2 screens, and i havent heard any1 complain about there being 2 screens so why would they change it.
