well looking up my new buy on the internet (wiki) and if u look at the system requirements you'll see this
"System requirements
Windows XP, 1.4 GHz Processor that supports Streaming SIMD Extensions, 256 MB RAM, 64 MB video card capable of Hardware TnL, 2 GB free hard disk space (PC)"

so my question if u already haven't guessed it is that dose AoE:3 work on vista...
It should. If not you can always run it on "XP mode" on Vista.

Well, I assume Vista has an XP mode to run applications, as XP has Mellenia, 2000, 98, and 95 modes to run applications on.
You just right click the "autorun" or "shortcut" for the application, choose properties, and in "advanced" (i think) it asks in what mode you'd like to run the program.

all i found was a dual boot and requires riting text and I'm not to comfortable w/ that cause if i write something wrong then I'm screwed and if the site isn't reliable that could freeze my computer
Hold on, are you upgrading your current comp from windows XP to Vista? Or just getting Vista on a new comp?
If its the latter, there is no problem, AoE3 will work on it np.
If you're upgrading, you may get some problems and need to format your comp and start from scratch with vista.

it's already on the new computer so i SHOULD be good ...thought it thought i have the WORST luck when it comes to pc's.
read the page so if the pop-up says it might not work ill need to download the patch but if it doesn't i should?
