Isn't there a website where it tells you when and where the next shipment is? I stand in line Thanksgiving morning and I get my sister a Wii for her kids. My husband goes into work today and is telling a coworker and now I'm the one who can get a Wii before christmas! So I said I would help if I can and so I come here to you guys for help!

so anyone know what website I'm talking about or any idea when which stores get thier new shipments?
thanks!
I say you just go to Best Buy everyday.

lol
Ha, I forgot that they are hard to find again! They were pretty easy to find around here (Mississippi) but I haven't seen many lately. Anyone know the website?
They haven't been easy to find yet! I have never seen a Wii just sitting in a store! I can't hit bestbuy daily, I have a full time job and full time school at night. But I can get up early and hit a store before work starts!
Well you missed your first big chance of getting one. That was Black Friday (Friday After Thanksgiving). All retailers were holding back shipments for that crazy shopping day. My sister went out early to a local GameStop who had 14. She was first in line. The next really big day to get one would be the Sunday before Christmas, when I was able to get mine last year. Just be prepared to leave home ealry and stand in line for an hour or two. There's still hope

What I did was call walmart every single day and 10:00 Am and finally I got one. But that was in summer so I could call everyday. That's my advice.
Based on the progression of shipments observed in the "Good shipment info thread", from last year, I can say, your three best chances are, Saturday -Sunday, Dec 8-9th; Saturday-Sunday, Dec 22-23rd; Christmas eve.
Oh and for UKers
Don't bother trying to come into GAME, we have none. the next shipment is expected in about a week and a half but there is no guarantee, so just call your local stores in the morning that week to ask if we are getting them in.
We receive shipments Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. A shipment is on average 20 consoles (for our store) and they are completely sold by 2/3 hours of opening.
your best bet is to hound the employees until they give up the next shipment day. Then come back the day before and camp out overnight.

Not a good plan. I don't know about the US, but the shops in the UK aren't told the dates of the shipments, they just arrive.
Well, we have lots of Wii shaped paperweights over here in Australia (ie. PAL Wii's) but they would be of less use to guys than they are to us xD
u should camp out in front of a target / best buy / gamestop and have fun while camping out
at least that's what i did nov 19, 2006 to get my wii
camping out in front of a store FTMFW
On your way home from school/work, call the closest stores and ask:
1. Do you have any Wii's in stock?
If not,
2. Do you know when you're getting the next shipment in?
If the answer is no or I don't know, wash rinse and repeat each day.
