and I'm getting it for christmas, but I'm stuck with a dilemna. There's five games I want to get but I want to know which one I should get first:
Gears of War
Oblivion
Bioshock
Halo 3
Assassins Creed
Any advice?
I'm getting a 360 also..I think a Pro, not sure. But most likely.
I would get Assassin's Creed, and Oblivion first since I'm not a FPShooter Lover.
If you're going to get live, get Halo 3, the multiplayer will take you far. Otherwise, I'd suggest either Bioshock or oblivion.
Halo for multiplayer for sure. After that, in order, I'd say Bioshock, Gears, Assassin's Creed, Oblivion IMO.
I just wish it wasn't all FPS. D:
I think I may go along the lines of: Oblivion GotY E., Halo 3/bioshock, Assassins Creed/Gears.
It'll be tough to choose between halo and bioshock...

Bioshock is a great game. In all honesty, though, I'd steer clear of Assassins creed, I heard there's long amounts of research before the kills, annoying dialog, cheesy kill sequences, and stealth doesn't matter, because once detected, the guards are easy to kill. I've really been hearing poor things about that game.
get bioshock, and oblivion: game of the year edition. it comes with the shivering isles and knights of the nine expansions. two of the best expansions for it. i'd personally get something else other than GOW, Halo3, or Assassins Creed. 3 over-hyped games. i'd personally suggest The Orange Box. it's incredible. i still havent played much of the Half-Life 2 series because of Team Fortress 2, but that game alone is incredible. Portal(also a part of TOB) is fantastic too.
If you're looking for some bang for your buck I suggest Oblivion and/or Halo 3. Oblivion will last you at least 100 hours of gameplay (if you're willing to stick it out that long) and Halo 3 multiplayer has almost infinite replay value.
You are missing one important game on your list though: Mass Effect. Seriously though you can't go wrong with any of those games (except some people don't like Assassin's Creed).

I don't really care for Sports, Or racing. And intense fighting games ( DOA ) dont really interest me lol.

Orange Box is the best deal you can make. 5 games for the price of one? 5 top of the line games at that.
HL2 itself is worth the price, let alone Ep:1 & 2, Portal AND TF2.
(And my gawd is Halo and Assasin's Creed over-hyped.)
If you really want multi-player I suggest CoD4, I'd say TF2, but never played it on 360, so I donno.
I personally dislike AC, think Prince of Persia, without a good story, and repeating the exact same thing over and over till no end.
