well in order to continue gaming you'll have to get your butt up and work. i what was just curious as to what you guys want to do later in life or what your doing now.

now: Retail
future: Cardiac Surgeon
Now: line cook
Next Summer: Navy
*moves from tv/movies*

Now: Swim Instructor in a swim safety school, Building Supervisor in an Athletics Complex, Cast member at Disney. was a florist til this summer, too.

Future: character modeller/animator (not sure which one i want to go for yet) for games.
Current: Deli
Summer: VIA Rail waiter (Being paid to travel? F*ck yeah!)
Very Near Future: University Student studing Pharmacy, Psychology, Pre-Medicine, Bio-Psychology, and Philosophy. (Believe it or not, all these courses pretty much require the same courses to be accepted in. Minus Philosophy of course)

I have no idea what I'll be in the future, depends which science/art I like most during Uni, the courses branch off after the first 2 years, so I guess I'll know by then...
Currently: Retail
Future: something computery, game programmer?
in honor of about to leave for work-

NOW- Authorized gun toting social worker.

FUTURE- in 18 years ill be retired, hopefully laying on a beach in hawaii Big Grin
Now - Full-Time Student
Future - Actor/Writer.
Right Now: Student working at the town's local theater.
Future: Looking into the National Guard; And later looking at something in the computery field. Not sure yet.
Now: Soccer referee
Near Future: Retail while still keeping the refereeing on the side.
Distant future: Something computer. More than likely a computer engineer.
Now: Student in College
Future: Public Relations, hopefully with a gaming company like Nintendo of America.
very soon: local hardware store

later: meteorologist
Currently: Unemployed, BUT would have been an animator for an online greeting card company...would've worked out IF the owner wasn't on drugs, and didn't try to stiff me on a formal contract...

In the next week or 2: Game tester for mobile devices, working at a VERY large electronics company which I will leave unnamed at the moment Wink

Definitely go for the animator side right now... Our industry NEEDS good character animators... MoCap can only go so far, and modelers are a dime a dozen. If you have that and the imagination to create awesome characters, you are gold... Modeling is something that can be learned quickly and easily compared to emulating the correct physiology of a humanoid or fauna movement...

Current: Lazy student.
Future: Physicist, probably astrophysicist.
Now: Less than ecstatic student.
Future: Commercial pilot with some airline. Pretty much anything except Ryanair *shudders*
Current: Student and screen/paper printing.

Future: Aerospace Engineer/Apathetic English Language analyst/teacher.
Current- Coach/instructor, teach kids age 6-12 how to ice skate and play hockey.
Future- Whatever it holds for me... Smile
I might elaborate on my current situation

I work part-time in a game store
I work part-time as a professional web designer
I compose music and occasionally sell CDs, though not so much, I don't like selling my stuff...
I'm a college student
I'm teaching myself to model/texture (Dime-a-dozen as pizza said, but it's a useful asset in the gaming world)

then theirs the social life.


yeah, sleep doesn't happen.
Now: 4.0 student (all As) that's in:
video club
chess club
ski club ( I snowboard)

Future: video game designer

Far future: head of a sucessful video game company, but still designing video games.
Past: Meat cutter
Current: Assistant Photographer
Future: Writer

I mix it up like that.
