Well, I don't know exactly when this started, but it was within this week, I think.

Anyway, the left "ear-bud" is louder than the right "ear-bud," and I've tried using different headphones, but I still get this problem.
No matter which speaker or WHATEVER I connect the Nano to, the left speaker/headphone is louder than the right.

I guessed that it was an issue with the iPod itself, and not the speakers, so I decided to go into iTunes and restore the factory default.
Still messed up.

I read the Apple help files etc, but they were of no help. (Curse you, Apple.)

Help would be greatly appreciated. Ph43r M3h
are you still under warnty? if so, bank in on it. granted youd be at loss of an ipod for a while but its a sacrifice you gotta make to get the job done right. last thing you wanna do is try to touch it yourself and then god forbid screwing up the thing lol

contact apple yourself whether it be VIA email or on the phone. see what they have to say.

i got a zune so i cant help you lol
Actually, no.
It used to be my mom's Nano, but she got a classic and gave me the Nano.

I don't know exactly how long ago she got the Nano, but I'm positive it isn't under warranty anymore.

I'm trying to see if my mom will contact Apple soon. Toungue
Looks like a no as of yet, though. >_>
you can do it yourself as long as you have the product serial number- call their 1800 number to find out if its still under warenty. im sure they can check for you

if it isnt, see how much it will cost to ship to apple and have them take a look at it/repair it. usually they give estimates on product "damage" and once they contact you with an estimate, you give them the go ahead to fix.

like i said, unless you know what youre doing, i wouldnt open it or less youd be at loss of a nano period instead of having to deal with a simple audio issue. probably something in the circutry like a lose solder or something stupid like that who knows. might need a new audio outlet beats me.

just contact them yourself if youre that anxious Smile

but wait a minute? your mom bought a nano, gave it to you and went back to classic?! how is that possible?! lol well then again the classic is very user friendly compaired to other models IMO
Maybe Mark is just slightly deaf in his right ear? Wink
Heh, no...
I tried a different set of headphones, and they were louder in the left ear than the right.

I guess it COULD be the headphones etc I've tried, but how probable is that?
