Yep I made a thread about sushi. Who eats it? Where do you go to eat it? What is your favorite suchi? What places should people avoid? Discuss.
I started eating sushi at the New China Buffet, but it was some really cheap sushi. My dad one day finnally took me to a sushi bar. I LOVED IT. We've eaten sushi in the Wisconsin Dells, at Habachi (really cool place you should try it they cook in front of you) and at the New China Buffet. I haven't had real sushi since last year though. Just the New China's sushi. Poor me.
i had some for the first time no too ong ago, i couldnt go back alone because i dont know what to order
Sushi Looks disgusting, smells disgusting.
Wheres da fried chicken at?

Haha! QFT.
i LOVE sushi! i can live off of it. theres a place i go to atleast once a week 30 minutes east of where i live and let me tell you its the best sushi i ever had on long island!
my bf and i have been going there for about 4 years since the first day they opened and remain loyal customers. we even have sushi rolls named after one another! his is the NYPD roll which has basically the entire ocean in it (rice seaweed white tuna tuna yellowtail and i think its got salmon with eel and avacado on top with spicy may and eel sauce AMAZING!) and mine is Jilly Willy which has marble seaweed alfalfa sprouts white tuna yellow tail and rice.its really delicious with like lemony dressing type topping.
a little pricy (roughly 50$ per person) but so worth it every time. <3 they also tend to give us sapporo beer and sake on the house which makes it all the more better lmao we'll also do sake bombs with the owner

I think cloud won this thread. I'm putting this in my sig.
my first sushi = superstore (its just like costco but only in canada) they actually have really nice ande fresh sushi, i went to a sushi train (it was called sushi train) and i couldnt even tell the diff from the same kinds they sell at supersotre sushi = tasty and good.
I love sushi. Eel is my favorite, and it's one of the few things they actually cook. Delicious.
I'll generally eat it at any sushi place at least once. Some are better than others. Wegman's and Wholefoods also make decent sushi, as do some Shoprites.
People never seem to shut up about this stuff. I've got to try it some day, but it's so damn expensive where I've seen it

the one thing about sushi is i love the combo of pickled ginger, soy sauce and wasabi but i always get too much wasabi then like every passage in my head opens up (nasal, tear ducts, etc) and i think i am gonna die then a minute later i do it again
wasabi burns are AWESOME for when youre sick and need to clear out your whole nasal cavity lol. i like to mash mine up in the soy sauce <3
I like Eel best, so Dragon Rolls are my favorite, specially cause they're wrapped in avocado...
then I heard that they're about 500 calories a piece so I dont know if I'll be indulging anymore!
omg sushi! i love it. but really only one kind. california roll. either pathmark or a japanese store nearby to it. its delicious
haven't gotten to try much, but it is good if done right
had something refered to as the Volcano once. the sushi rolls were deep fried with a sauce poured over it and small balls of fried crab meat scattered about. it was un-freakin-believable
