i hate the god damn holidays!

le chanukkah tovah! tomorrow is the first night <3

holidays are my favorite time of year, and I just put up the lights outside the house (ALOT, probably gonna blow a circuit ) and got the Christmas tree up, i'll help decorate it later though because im too tired right now.

i havent decorate yet though, thatscoming along though.

The holidays are pretty good for me. I saw the title of this thread, and don't get me wrong, i respect everyones religion and everything and have mostly Jewish friends, but does anyone remember the times when it use to be called Christmas cheer?

I do.
I personally still say Christmas. Not to disrespect other religions but I just prefer that much more than just saying something like "holidays" or "season's greetings". They sound so fake.

I'm living the American dream--Christmas has put me into debt this year! That's what I get for buying an engagement ring (and of course she's gonna say yes--she came with me to pick it out/size it. I have to get it from the jewelers on thursday)

I'm excited for that, but MAN do I hate the holidays otherwise--nothing but stress, meltdowns, and debt...

when have we ever to begin with? :p

i say merry christmas at work- i never say happy chanukkah. sometimes ill say happy holidays depending on "who it is" i say it too but 99.9% of the time its "merry christmas"

but i lied, there is ONE instance ill say happy chanukkah and thats when im working in a heavely jewish area. thats where i never speak english lol

My boss convinced me or more like begged me to help her decorate the office since no one here knows how to do it right. I'm huge on Christmas but over here it's not the same. I have a holiday tomorrow (father's day over here) so I'm gonna go with some of my family and friends down to one of the huge malls here that have tons of Christmas decorations and a freaking enormous tree and take tons of pictures. I do admit that I've started listening to Christmas songs while using my lappy.
