since there are alot of games that are on two or more consoles, how about creating a forum for them? so its not confusing having to look through either the 360/PS3/Wii forums if you are looking for a thread about a game that is on all the consoles
Theoretically it's a good idea, but there's enough clutter with the forums as it is.

I think if there's a multi-console game that's on Wii then we should put it in the Nintendo Games forum
Any more opinions guys? I'd really like to see where the community stands on this issue.

I say sub forum.

In a lot of cases games are different across platforms.

This seems a bit silly if you ask me.
I was considering it in the context of a forum aimed at discussing differences across the platforms for the same game. I'm not sure if it deserves it's own section, or if it would be popular. In fact, the only reason it even caught my attention is that I'm trying to figure out which system I should purchase Guitar Hero III for, and I didn't know where to post my question.
my 2 cents-you can discuss any game in games forum, at least i do, so i dont think it needs its own section
Each game is different on a console, even if its the same title. So, I think things are fine as they are. It only takes a few seconds to skip through the forums.

Exactly, rather than having a thread for each different version make one thread and discuss the differences and such within that lone thread.

well no, because what works in one version might not work in another.

For example the DS/PSP versions of games are usually way different from the PS2 version which is way different from the Wii Version which is waay different from the 360/PS3 versions
That's true... I'd like to see something like this, but only if it's not too much trouble.
