Umm, was the PSP included here? I have a hard time believing the Gamecube outsold the PSP.

so Nintendo rocks the hardware sales, but we're slightly behind with the software. Once Brawl and No More Heroes and other insanely hyped games come out, they'll be up there with Galaxy, but until then I think the 360 will keep control of the software sales.

yeah you might wanna look over the chart again. Maybe I saw something different, but Wii Sports is number 1, and the PSP is number 5 in the hardware sales.

GlueGun doesn't include Wii Sports in it because it's packaged in with Wii. That would make Wii Sports number 1 just about every week, Forza 2 and Marvel:UA are up there because they are apart of bundle deals.

Damn, Sony really is having a tough time right now in the states. The PS3-360 gap is growing once again.

Wii_rulez, Forza and MUA aren't in every 360, just the two bundles.

Additionally, the 360 has OUTSTANDING attachment rates as of late.

Good work GlueGun, I enjoy your keeping us up with the sales, ever since my Statistics class back in HS, I've always enjoyed this kind of data.

I like that. It doesn't really give an accurate idea of how many people would have bought this game had it been sold individually since people are really buying the Wii and just getting the game as an added bonus.
Just like Wii Play. No one in their right mind would buy that game for more than $10 if it wasn't for the remote.

And the PSP sold 160,848. Sandwiched between the PS2 and PS3.

After looking at the hardware and software totals, does anyone else find it odd that around 20,000 people are buying GBA's without buying games nearly every week?!?! (This week's GBA to GBA game ratio was like...4:1)

Because Forza and Marvel are still available to be bought independently, Wii Sports is not. Also the 360 games are not available in every bundle.

I thought about that for a bit and have a hard time justifying it. I suppose these are mostly parents buying the system for a child for Christmas, but aren't bothering to buy any games with it. Which would be a little bittersweet for the recipient I guess...

or it could be that the people already have the games, but their GBA doesn't work, so people are getting new ones for the christmas season.

Ultimate Alliance in at #2!? WTF!? That game sucks!

My first, a platinum, was stolen along with my entire pair of pants when I swimming in a lake. I was a junior counselor at a summer camp and some shady kids stole my pants-- well, they were shorts.

My second-- I forget what happened to it. It was also a platinum, but it's long gone.

My third was-- hey, another platinum. I just straight up lost it. Left it behind and people don't return electronics.

My fourth was an impulse buy. I saw the Onyx/Platinum one and I was like, "Motherfuck yes." I bought it.

My fifth was another impulse buy. I wanted another weird color. I went eBay hunting and settled on that limey green one, which I have consequently lost.

I'm really absent-minded.

I don't know why people buy things they already own...
