C'mon, 90% of Wii games are mediocre.

Well not all are "mediocre," they're just aimed at casual gamers.
And to me, a casual game is a dead game.

You could term it as mediocre, but I prefer to laugh at Nintendo's attempt to please everyone. It just can't be done.
(More than that, they've almost stopped appealing to the "hardcore" crowd altogether. It's very frustrating.)

True, the hardcore crowd isn't hurting by any means but the games (good ones) for that crowd are definately few and far between.

I disagree. I'm a hardcore gamer and a casual. I think the Wii is fine. Some games are bad I admit, but i think alot are good too.

I actually do agree, literally. I'd say about 90% of the games are mediocre.

That would include me too.The current trend is why I picked up an MMO and now cannot get myself to get off of it to go play my Wii, which makes me sad

gotta disagree, id say over half the games for wii are good, just like the DS

there is crap dont get me wrong, just not 9/10 games released

maybe nintendo wanted to get the casual gamers first, then lure in the non casual gamers

Fixed.  This isn't a problem only with the Wii, this has been going on since the Atari, and most every generation since.  The only major systems close to being immune to it would be the SNES and N64 for obviously different reasons.
